Today I would like to talk about something that, in good or bad, makes all us the same: nail polish. It’s an argument that we take for granted, that we do not consider important, but I think it deserve a chapter for himself. Firstly for the variety of colours: when we are in a perfume shop for buying one it seems that the shades of any colour are unlimited, and we are shocked by it. Usually the boyfriend or your girl friend have to spend hours next us, listening your doubt about which colour will be the trend for the next season. The true is that we are deluded cause when we arrive at home in our collection we always have the same colour as the one we have just bought. I realized with all my experience that are all the same. When we see that we already have that colour we repeat ourselves that on the nails the effect will be different. And here it’s the tragedy number two: the nail that never dry. It’s forbidden apply it if you have to do something in the next three hours. Even if you know that in the five minutes just after have applied it, in that time in which it’s so fresh, everything will happen: from your dog’s hair that goes on it, to the classic feeling of starving, itch, necessity to go to the toilet. Even when it seems to be dry, it’s not, it’s enough anything in the air that goes on it and ruined all your work. And what about if you wanna apply it before going to sleep? We would wake up with all kind of things on our nails. Talking about when it’s dry. I think that someone that had nothing to do invented it. Nail polish and work are far away to be friend: just if you wash plates or cook something that it will chip. It makes us run to cover that piece, with that horrible patch result. That we accept exhausted just by the idea of doing everything from the beginning again. When we decide to remove it, it’s impossible to remove it, like it want to stay there forever. In the end, without nail, we could not live: it makes our hands super fashion and makes us shine and happy. That’s why we have to put it again, in the end no pain no gain.

JEANS SHIRT AND JUMPER

Surely you’ll say “it’s obvious”, but I hate Mondays. It’s all my life that I hate it. Since when I was a child, it was the day in which an entire week at school began after a Sunday of fun. It’s a negative day for the karma. I think that it’s not just because work or study start again, but it even suffer the comparison with Sunday. If what I’m saying it’s not true, why no one hate Tuesday? Why we do not talk about an horrible Wednesday? Why these days, guilty like Monday, have not the same bad fame? Simply because the sad of Monday it’s the result of the Sunday’s happiness. I don’t know you, but I’m happy when it’s Sunday. I wake up late, I enjoy a slow breakfast, I relax cause I know that I have nothing to do. I am one of the laziest person in the world, and a day of rest seems to be created for me. Sunday I do not go out. Often I do not even take out my pajama and I spend my day from sofa to bed, from TV and internet, sometime all together (multitasking miracles!). Monday the world starts to spin again, to repopulate, that streets that were desert the day before are now full of cars, motorbikes and people that run, the silence now is substituted by shouts, laughs, horns and rumble, shops and clubs that were closed now are full of people. And you know that even for you will be a stressful day, with many meetings, and till night your bed and your pajama will be just dreams. And there is an entire week till next Sunday. You know that there are no excuses, you won’t be allowed to eat all what you want because it’s holiday, and the rules are again an important part of your life. That’s why Monday it’s a bad day, Tuesday you are already ready, it’s already a day of routine and you do not suffer that much and, deeply, you know that next Sunday is getting near. That Sunday that is being so rare that makes it special. If it won’t be so short and unique we won’t regret it. So let’s be brave and we have to afford this Monday, thinking that tomorrow will be already better.
