EASY CHIC OUTFIT, WAITING FOR CHRISTMAS

Easy chic outfit. I have already understood and accepted that I’m a disaster. I’m totally disorganized, fickle, without control and emotional. I have often tried to change but at the end I have understood that it’s impossible to go against our true nature. Every time I intend to come ready and calm for the occasion, but It never happen. In these days I’ve started to be a little nervous because I haven’t bought Christmas gifts yet. It doens’t mean that I have started to buy them or at least think about them. I’m thinking that I have a lot of time before Christmas (even if it’s not right) and, like every year, I will buy them the last day. It’s too difficult to go against our true nature!

METALLIC SKIRT, AND THERE WAS LIGHT

Metallic skirt. Usually the clothes we have bought for some time, starts to bore us, sometimes because we are usued to see them, or because we don’t like them anymore. There are times in which the desire to have somethingh make it more stylish of what it really is. Sometimes, on the other hand, there are clothes that hit straight at the heart since the fist minute we meet them, like Mr. Right, and the time let grow our love for them. This happened to me when I bought this skirt. I have loved it, I love it and I will love it. It’ so fashion, stylish, glam, and it match with every outfit. Pure light.

MEN’S OUTFIT FOR #MFW DAY 3

Men’s outfit with hat and suspenders. I deeply love to play with my look and to test new clothes combinations (it’s my job!) and Fashion Week has ever been the perfect opportunity for it. For the third day of Milan Fashion Week I chose a thirties men’s outfit, with hat and suspenders. Going against common feeling, during Fashion Week I usually don’t wear high heels, because I feel more comfy and happy without them.

There are so many girls (I envy them) able to wear terrible high heel for so many hours and to be at the same time happy and nice. This is not my case. I wear them only for few hours and if I haven’t to walk long distances. Fortunately fashion sytem thinks also to girls like me and now boots, booties and oxford shoes are everywhere. Thanks a lot.

ONCE UPON A TIME

Even if I could seem a granny I wanna talk about cartoons on air when I was a child. I started thinking on it last night while I was going back home after dining with my sister. She was singing Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” theme. She was Belle and I had to complete the song with the Beast parts (older sisters are always arrogant!). It has been shocking how, after so many years, we still remember the whole lyric, surely because we saw it thousand times. Once Disney used to produce not simply cartoons, but real pieces of art. Plots, sketches, dialogues and song were make to be forever and to remain in children’s heads at least for a year, when the new cartoon was out. However, they were so awesome that are in our heads for the whole life. Cartoons like “The Lion King”, “Aladdin”, “Hercules”, I saw them so many time to wear out the tape, and I was never bored to watch them. They were totally different one with the other to be unique was essential. I am not still talking how gorgeous were for us, little girls, the Princesses. Belle, Ariel, Jasmine, Aurora were our idol, always beautiful, kind and elegant. Their clothes were a dream (the name of my blog come from it) that all of us were looking for Carnival, and what about their amazing boyfriends? Always awesome and rich (that Princesses were not stupid at all!). Now that cartoons don’t exist anymore (here it is the granny!), there are just business production, made for earn as much possible and them be lost after few months. Love story now are amongst monsters, worriers or aliens. All the same and that magic has disappeared. That’s why I stopped and I thought how lucky I am, even if old, I’ve been a child when cartoons were the most beautiful, that will be with me for the rest of my life.
