AMERICAN FLAG SWEATER AND NEW ERA

Yesterday wearing an american flag sweater and new era I was the perfect copy of Save, but with a skirt. I have to admit that I stole everything from his wardrobe. You know that I deeply love wearing mens clothes, the rule is alway matching them with super feminine pieces, like mini skirt, heels or neckline. It’s essential for me having his wardrobe, because some days in mine I can’t find anything. He doesn’t understand it, and always asks me why, with thousands (these are his fake estimate) dresses, I have to use his “two wasted clothes”. It’s true what he says, but I don’t know why his wardrobe it’s like a magnet for me. I see all this sweaters (amongst them even this american flag sweater), checkered shirts and jeans ones and I immediately start thinking how I could match and create outfits half and half male and woman. I think that any girl should use her boyfriend pieces for many reasons. If your boyfriend it’s unpleasant like mine you can convince him to give you his clothes with the following motivations:

-the crisis and it’s important to save money. If he gives you his own you do not must buy what you have not found in your own wardrobe.

-sharing everything it’s great for the relation.

-asking him something means that you appreciate his style.

-he will find it back in his wardrobe, clean and ironed (not rolled into ball on the chair). Mens trust everything.

Including mens clothes in your own look will makes you a super sexy woman and so fashion at the same time. The most important thing it’s always matching them with thigh pieces, you have to make a balance with shirt and sweater size. Here you can see another look in which I wear another Save’s sweater. Last morning, that I was wearing heat and sweater from basketball world (is the american flag sweater linked in some way with basketball?) we decided to take the pictures in a field, in which I show all my sports abilities. I am really not good in sports, I don’t like it and I hate doing it. I still remember the nightmare that gym hour was at school. Luckily it’s ended. I had fun to score a bit, nothing really hard. Save’s sweater it’s still on the chair, but I will wash and iron it as soon as possible.

LOOK GOOD IN PICTURES: SO HARD

Each day I choose ten pics for the blog, and obviously are those tin which, I think, I look better. No one can imagine that, besides that few pics, there are other fifty, less or more, that I rejected. There are many reason for it: light defects (too dark, too clear), the subject is out of focus, behind me there is a bin (I do not use photoshop yet, so I can’t delete the trash can but I simply delete the picture), the sun dazzle me etc. But the largest amount of pics is threw away for my expressions. Sometime I ask myself ho a normal person can make faces like that. Often my eyes are closed, with a lost expression on my face, typical in people that have used drugs. The true is, that I had an eyes surgery, and now I am photosensitive, and light give me noise (luckily we have sunglasses). Other time I gnash, assuming expressions that only a rottweiller or a boxer just punched can have. Doing that my lipstick goes everywhere, and makes me looking like a clown, sad and with a horrible make up. I can even be angry with Save because he bugs me during the shooting, and obviously you could see that I am furious front the pictures. He, poor, maybe just asked me to move  a bit or that the collar of my skirt was messed (and I became mad even if he doesn’t tell me that), but, telling you a confidence, I mistreat him even for less (do boyfriends have other skills further helping us to unload?). And I don’t wanna talk how is when Fiocco is with us. That lovely dog it’s absolutely not cooperative. He loves to show to the camera his best side. Luckily there are always even pics that I like, that are more spontaneousus, that moments in which we laugh or I am simply thinking by myself, instants that Save is able to capture in his amazing pics.

BRITISH SKIRT: ODE TO IRONY

I wanna take advantage of today’s post, in which I wear such a sober skirt, for write an ode to irony. Even more the self-irony. Everyone know that life it’s amazing, but even difficult. Every morning we wake up and we don’t know what could happen during the day. Surely we’ll have to afford small and big challenges, maybe we will meet new people, we will have to use our skills (and often our patience). We can win or lose and all depends from circumstances that we can not plan before. Maybe we go to an exam well prepared and the tester ask us the only thing we don’t know, we have a job interview and you are super confident, but someone with connections get the job, we prepare muffin and they do not rise (well if it all happen during the same day maybe you need a voodoo ritual!). So what can save us if not the self-irony? Who is ironic never lose, taking himself not to seriously knows that good and bad things can happen, but he found a reason for it. Who is to self confident and sure to be the best one surely will be disappointed many times, with great fun from the others. The irony makes our life easier and makes us winner. I am sure that stumble in a dip wearing high heels in via Montenapoleone during the Fashion Week it’s not nice, but if we laugh about it, it won’t appear that bad and the witnesses won’t remember about the fact, but about our great reaction. And if we score C and not A+ during an exam, we should just laugh about our unlucky we are not tell everyone that the examiner did his work wrong, there are more important things than a mark. Because the unlucky are deeply the most pleasant, and a positive karma always helps. In the life the best accessories is our smile, because it keep the attention, and even if we’ve chosen the wrong outfit no one will see it.

SPOTTED SLIPPERS AT THE LAKE

When I was a baby my grandma always told me that it’s the change of the season. I try to tell you what is happening in these days to me: I am totally laziness, I feel to do nothing and starving all the time. When I wake up in the morning I am already tired, it’s like if I haven’t sleep at all (even if I slept 10 hours), and just the idea of wearing something nice/putting make up on/make my hair make me feel bad, I have to repeat to myself that I have to go out (even if there is always a cold air that seems waiting just me), then I spend all the day dreaming when I’ll be back home, in my warm bed, watching the TV. When the hunger comes, chips, chocolate biscuits, schiacciatine (I love it) and croissants are my best/worst friends during these long autumn afternoons. Even if I follow my diet till the 6 pm, just idea of relaxing, enjoying all that delicious food, starts to be in my mind as soon as I arrive at home. I try to say “no, Melissa, if you resist will be easier to go on with your diet”, but I already know that it’s a losing game, I am not strong enough for this battle. So I go in the kitchen and I eat a schiacciatina. Than I think “ok, one it’s ok. Now stop and anything will happen”. That schiacciatina it’s just what you can see of an iceberg, the beginning of my ruin. After a bit I have already ate ten schiacciatine (with Philadelphia), few biscuits and a croissant. And it’s not finished yet. Taking a break to the diet makes me feel allowed eating what I want even for dinner, and I call for pizza and ice cream “I will start the diet again tomorrow”. Just thinking that I will have to start the diet again makes me eating double. “I have to be totally satisfied because from tomorrow I won’t eat anything good”. That made the situation worst it’s the fact that at that time, Save is at the gym (doesn’t he feel the change of the season?), and that allows me to do everything in secret. His pejorative gazes and his telling-off would take me far away from junk food. But, he is not there, so I am free to eat as much as I can and made him believe that I ate nothing. Having no witnesses (just my dogs, accomplices tin change of food) made the fact not real, with a clear conscience (even if my belly grows). At eight the laziness starts again, and I fell asleep in from of TV, hearing strange voices (Save that tries to talk with me), and the day after I ask myself if it really happened. The change of the season made even you KO or just me?

Do you ever think about when you were child? On how the life was a fairy tale, and everything was a game, when the imagination was the most important thing in our life? When I was a child I used to spend my days reading books or playing games outdoor, sometimes I had long walks with my headphones on and imagining situations that were just fantasies. I remember how the future was always in my mind, how for me was always awesome and full of good news. It always looked like the better was yet to come. Than, suddenly, you find yourself grown-up, that far future has come, the time has gone and there are good and bad moments, and you are totally different from your thoughts. You are not perfect and not that sure of yourself, you have not opened a lovely dog pound and you have not a daughter that looks like you, you are not with the guy that was the most popular at school and it’s almost ten years that you don’t see your best friend. But you find yourself reading the same books that you loved, your dog that has been your life partner from that years till few months ago is always in your heart, the most important people are still next to you, you still have fun trying on clothes and posing like models on magazines, you still do your best for helping the animals that are in difficult situations. Than you realize that you are the same as always, surely more aware, more alert and more realist. The life made you less idealist, now you know your limits, and your priorities are changed and even your dreams. At the same time you know that you’ll adopt all that dogs, you’ll have that daughter that will looks like you and you’ll spend your entire life with the best guy in the world. Now the coolest guy at school is become hideous, and you don’t know about what you could speak with that friend. It’s the world around us that change, our nature that evolves, our priorities that goes for new ones, but deeply we are the same, with same passions, vulnerabilities and strong points. Our heart evolves but doesn’t change, if we look our soul we recognize ourselves at an any time during our life.

BASKETBALL VEST, BE FEMININE WITH A NBA JERSEY

I know nothing about basketball and, before Save told me something about it, I didn’t know who Garnett was. For what I know now he is a really good player and this Basketball vest is from one of his past teams. It has been modified by using just the back part of the original jersey, creating a lovely waistcoat, nice to be worn both by men or women. It’s great for creating any kind of outfit, from a sporty (joggers, white tee and this waistcoat), to a rock one (skinny jeans, converse, tee and beanie or let you inspire by a totally rock’n roll look like this), from a feminine wearing high heels to a casual look. When I saw this waistcoat at Minimarket del Riciclo I was already craving for it. I thought that Dolce&Gabbana oxford shoes were the perfect match. So I created this outfit, that it’s a little bit different. I was looking for something comfy, feminine and fashion. I even wear my boyfriend jeans, a must have this season (if you don’t have them, go and buy one! Mine are from Zara) and a white shirt that it’s always cool. My advice it’s to try to play with a NBA jersey, obtaining a feminine result you’ll appear sexy as hell. I am sure that even your boyfriend will appreciate (but don’t cut his favorite vest for creating one similar to mine, or it will be a totally different story!). Today we are in Milan again for few meetings, and I haven’t decided yet what to wear cause it’s so cold. I hate it! In a bit of time any outfit will be sadly covered by a coat/parka. Uff!

Celine bag is absolutely one of my best purchase ever. If I should create an advertisement for this bag I would say that you can put everything in it. I’ve never seen a more capacious bag. Even my loyal Neverfull can’t compete. The only defect is that it’s already heavy when it’s empty. You can’t even imagine when it’s full. I already heard about it, but I didn’t believe it. It’s true. Even if it would be perfect, I can’t take it with me when I am out all the day.

I decided to wear Celine bag with a look that I like. I love this Pinko shirt and Dolce&Gabbana oxford shoes. This shoes stroke me when I saw them for the first time, but I had so many doubt about wearing them. I tried and when I saw them on my feet I had no more doubt, they have to be mine. I love to wear them with skirts and unique looks, in which heels would be too much and flats boring. I wear them with this happy outfit, in which shoes and Pinko shirt are protagonists. Black miniskirt and grey Celine bag make the outfit perfect with their neutral colors.

I wore this look to go out with Save and friends. As you can see we started having fun since the shooting, and it has been even better later. I spent one of that amazing days in which you realize how beautiful is spending time with people that make you laugh and suit you.

This days are really important, far away from bad thoughts and negativity.
