SIMPLE LOOK AND WHITE ROSES IN MILAN

I choose a simple look for the last day spent in Milan last week. I bet on a simply black dress with grey coat that are in contrast with my purple Nike. You know how I love looks made through contrast. I think they are the most interesting and the result is always super fashion. One I wear a sporty element in a look, like these sneakers or yesterday’s post Converse jacket, I like to match it with something elegant or super chic. Totally elegant or sporty looks don’t make me crazy. I always prefer to mix different elements and create something that is graceful but even with a personalty. Like I told you yesterday I am spending this week in Rome for few working meetings. Every time that I come to this city I am charmed by her beauty. It’s something disarming. You can just stay there with no words and realize that in the world there is something so gorgeous. In this city there is history, culture and art in the air. I hope to have time for visit it once again, every time it’s always like to be the first one. And “unluckily” food is great. Every time I am here I come back home fattier. There are so many restaurants and trattorias that offer typical roman food, it’s simply amazing. One of the best I ever tried. Today I’ve been busy the whole day, tomorrow I hope to even do a bit of shopping. I can’t wait. In the case you are from Rome give me some advice about restaurant/shop that I must go to. I would really love it. I wanna enjoy this city all around.

GLITTER DRESS AND BEANIE FOR HOLIDAY DAYS

What is better than a glitter dress in these Christmas and New Year’s Eve holiday days? I wore this outfit the day before Christmas Eve, when Me and Save left house looking for the missing Christmas presents. Do you know when there are just the last two left and you absolutely don’t know what to buy? It seems easy to but presents, but find the right ones sometimes it’s impossible. I choose an outfit perfect for a desperate shopping, but I didn’t want to avoid the holiday spirit that just a glitter dress can give me. How’s been your Christmas? Mine has been cool, I would define it relaxing. I ate so much (and I’ve not finished yet). In the new year there will be changes and news, that’s why I decided to spend my time with family relaxing. Do not miss tomorrow’s post with my outfit proposals for New Year’s Eve, and I guarantee you that this glitter dress will seems dull. I am really sad that Christmas is already gone, it’s my favorite time during the whole year. There is magic in the air and everyone is happier. Lights, presents, mums that cook. Christmas should be at least three times a year. Unluckily it’s just one, and this year it’s gone. Let’s enjoy New Year’s Eve that is coming, that will offer us more binges and parties. Me and Save have not been able to organize any trip this year and we’ll spend our New Year’s Eve in the city, with some friends. I can’t wait to live the most magic night in the year and start the new one, that forewarn to be teeming with opportunities, I just hope to be able to do everything at full blast.

FASHION IS ART THAT MAKES COHESION

Wednesday night, while I was running from one side to the other of H&M store in Milan during the preview of Isabel Marant pour H&M, trying to grab the iconic pieces, I thought that fashion is even cohesion and sharing. We were there, girls and ladies with the same big passion in the life, women that when wake up in the morning open the wardrobe thinking to wear something new, different and to share it with the other or maybe doing it just for herself, and feeling calm and satisfied. We were there to see and buy pieces from an amazing collection, innovative, unique, that immediately made us feeling that we have something in common, that we are part of the big fashion family that is made by all the people from all over the world that love this giant business. Because fashion is art, made by great designers and what they create are real masterpieces. Who loves these artworks is like hypnotized and entranced by them, like in front of a work of art. There are so many feelings when you see a dress that you like, firstly you are shocked seeing it, while in your mind you are already imagine how will look on you, how can you match it and when you can wear it. Than you go near it, you touch it and you can feel great textile, and you already noticed it before. Finally you wear it and it’s the maximum of the satisfaction, and if you look good it’s already part of you. Largest part of a dress it’s how you feel when you are wearing it, how you wear it, and how your personality suits with it, making it alive. Cause clothes are like grubs that transform into butterflies when they match humanity and charm of who is wearing them. There are dress that, even if they are a real dream when you see them while hung, they lose all the appeal when you wear them, because they are not made for us and we do not have that spark that they need. They still are amazing works of art, but without soul. And when we realize that that dress it’s not for us we simply have to leave it, still admiring his majesty, but we need to give him the opportunity to shine with another girl, that like us loves fashion and for this reason is already nearest to us and so, a friend.
