DRESS AND BOOTIES IN A RAINY MILAN

Dress and booties, many things to do and a heavy rain. These are ingredients of our last day in Milan, we were there for meetings and some details for our new home. Obviously when you have to move all around the city it’s a rainy day. Rain doesn’t describe it properly. We were wet through. By the way we did everything and it has been a day full of satisfactions. I already told you that I couldn’t wait for wear dress and booties, because it’s a look that I love. Unluckily since few time ago I wasn’t able to find a pair of heavy booties that I like. When I saw these I literally fell in love at first sight. I can guarantee you that I will wear them many times, because they are really comfortable and easy to match. Booties and boots trend is for me one of the best ever. You can be fashion without pain made by heels or freeze for wearing flats. I literally love them. Even in this day, with many things to do, rain and cold, they saved me. Most difficult, even if you can find booties in many shops, it’s to find a pair that is gorgeous without spending a fortune. About another topic, I decided that today I must start a diet, it’s since Christmas that I just eat always. It means that today will be a really difficult day.  Help. I have first of all to start going to the gym again, and I hope to find time for it today. Exercise it’s really hard, and I am the first to hate it, but when you start doing it you realize how good it is. That’s why today I will start my new diet and fitness schedule, let’s see how it will be.

ROCK CHIC OUTFIT: HOW TO MAKE IT

This rock chic outfit is the one I wore last Friday for a day spent in Milan in a day full of meetings. In these days we are organizing so many projects that should be done before Christmas, and the time is really short. I was looking for a comfy outfit, to be able to move easily all around the city, but even really cool, because I had to meet many peoples that obviously work in the Fashion world. I opted for something that I was sure of: a rock chic outfit, Oxford shoes and colored coat. I really love rock outfits and all leather, studded, chained accessories. However, I do not like to exceed and I prefer to balance rock pieces with a ultra chic style, for obtain a rock chic outfit, alternative, but not too much. In this case I wear a leather skirt, I match it with an outerwear: a jeans shirt (soon I will make a post just to show you many ways how to wear this piece). Oxford shoes with applications, strongly mens inspired, were what I was searching for the perfect look. The outfit has been made less formal using a colored coat, so feminine and chic, a leather gloves, but pink and my beloved Balenciaga, that shows us how an accessory can be rock but even fashion at the same time. My advice to do not look like a The Kiss member when we decide to wear leather and studs it’s to mix them with romantic or light colored pieces. Gloves are something that too often is not used, but I really think they have to power to change a whole outfit. In this case pink gloves have been basic for giving the chic touch to this outfit. The day has been hard, but full of satisfactions, we went back home tired but happy. Surely this rock chic outfit, that helped me feeling good, has been a great support to be ready meeting after meeting always with a great enthusiasm.

LEGGINGS AND STRIPED SWEATER

A passion that all we have it’s surely shopping. Someone more than other, but all women love it. When we see a bag or a pair of shoes we are in a trance, in another world in which that accessory is already in our hands. We imagine ourselves walking in the city with our new Dior in one harm or wearing that Valentino’s boots, meanwhile the world smiles to us.Shopping it’s not just for clothes and accessories, buying something it’s always satisfying. For example when we buy a lipstick or a nail polish. Already being in that perfumed place it’s relaxing and idyllic. Than the saleswomen come, smiling like angels, and they show you latest nuances and all that products with their jewelry like shining packaging, till that moment in which you decide what to buy and they wrap your lipstick with lovely ribbons, they fill your bag with perfumes and mascara small samples. And the magic it’s done. You bought it. You have something new. You did something for yourself. The truth it’s that shopping it’s therapeutic, it makes everyday struggles easier to afford and it shows you what you have obtained working hard. Yes, even if the day has been exhausting, at the end you’ve been able to buy something that you like, that rewarded yourself and made your life better. Because the day after you’ll wear that lipstick, or that new dress, and you’ll feel perfect, different from before and more confident. So girls, we don’t have to feel guilty when we spend even a bit too much, but we have to think that we do it for ourselves and, you know, shopping is cheaper than a Psychiatrist.

Do you ever think about when you were child? On how the life was a fairy tale, and everything was a game, when the imagination was the most important thing in our life? When I was a child I used to spend my days reading books or playing games outdoor, sometimes I had long walks with my headphones on and imagining situations that were just fantasies. I remember how the future was always in my mind, how for me was always awesome and full of good news. It always looked like the better was yet to come. Than, suddenly, you find yourself grown-up, that far future has come, the time has gone and there are good and bad moments, and you are totally different from your thoughts. You are not perfect and not that sure of yourself, you have not opened a lovely dog pound and you have not a daughter that looks like you, you are not with the guy that was the most popular at school and it’s almost ten years that you don’t see your best friend. But you find yourself reading the same books that you loved, your dog that has been your life partner from that years till few months ago is always in your heart, the most important people are still next to you, you still have fun trying on clothes and posing like models on magazines, you still do your best for helping the animals that are in difficult situations. Than you realize that you are the same as always, surely more aware, more alert and more realist. The life made you less idealist, now you know your limits, and your priorities are changed and even your dreams. At the same time you know that you’ll adopt all that dogs, you’ll have that daughter that will looks like you and you’ll spend your entire life with the best guy in the world. Now the coolest guy at school is become hideous, and you don’t know about what you could speak with that friend. It’s the world around us that change, our nature that evolves, our priorities that goes for new ones, but deeply we are the same, with same passions, vulnerabilities and strong points. Our heart evolves but doesn’t change, if we look our soul we recognize ourselves at an any time during our life.

DOLCE AND GABBANA MAKE UP EXPERIENCE

A lovely experience with Dolce and Gabbana make up products, what could I ask more? Make up always enchanted me, the way in which expert make up artists make shine the best part of the face and sometime are even able to change the features. I always ask advice and try to learn their secrets. That’s why I was more than happy when Dolce&Gabbana guys from boutique in Milan called me for a make up session with their great make up artist. A special thanks goes to Alessandro (the guy with eyeglasses in the pic) that always has a nice thought for me. It has been a gorgeous experience, Alex (the make up artist) has been amazing, he is really talented but even pleasing and with a classy touch that is distinctive in Dolce&Gabbana team. Dolce and Gabbana make up products are great, colors are beautiful and high quality. When we wear good products we feel it. I am not yet talking about the fragrances, that made me immerse in surreal and special atmospheres. Alex gave me so many tips for using at the best Dolce and Gabbana make up. Now I am pretty sure I’ll be able to reproduce something not to far from this. I know by the way that he has master touch. Later Alessandro showed me some pieces from new collection, I couldn’t resist. I tried to show you something from my INSTAGRAM profile, even if it is not allowed to take pictures in the store. Luckily I took notice of it! I am really happy for this wonderful experience. Thank you guys, you are special!
