SNOOPY SWEATSHIRT IN A DARK STORMY DAY

Snoopy sweatshirt. Although I’m not a child anymore, I often seek refuge in a fantasy world, and I love tales and fables so much. The aspects of the tales that I mainly appreciate is that they always teach something and they make me dream. In a story all goes right, good actions and feeling are always rewarded, bad people aren’t so bad and there are always happy and cheerful situations.

When I was a child fantasy stories were my world. I read a lot of comic strips and I just couldn’t get enough. One of my favorite characters was Snoopy, because, as well as to be a lovely dog (I do love animals) he had a peculiar complex personality. He slept on the doghouse roof and he hated cats, but also he was a great thinker and she dreamt to be a great writer (the famous incipit of his books: “It was a dark and stormy night”). When I found this sweatshir I couldn’t resist and I wore it all day long, as my Linus blanket.

I apologize for my posts lack during those latest days but fashion week, the move to Milan and the delay in wi-fi installation have prevented me from publishing. In any case now I’m here to update you about latest news. As you know, Milan Fashion Week has just ended, and it has been full of satisfactions.

Between fashion shows and events, I have seen wonderful things and I have known a lot of new people. I wore this outfit to attend Adidas Originals per Italia Independent event, in which the shoe collection born from the collaboration of the two brands has been presented by Mr. Lapo Elkann. It has been an amazing event, I have published some moments on my instagram profile @melissacabrini.

Now the fashion week has ended, but there are so many projects incoming. Stay tuned!

SPRING OUTFIT IDEAS ON NAVIGLI

Through all Spring outfit ideas that I wanna tell you there are this pair of palazzo trousers with printed shirt. I wore them few days ago, for a day spent in Milan, with many meetings. One of them was on Navigli, an area of the city that I’ve been before just once for a shooting, but that I never enjoyed before. This time, with two hours free, from one appointment to another, I had the opportunity for spending a bit of time in this wonderful reality.

Plus, I’ve been there the day in which World Cup starts, you can just image enthusiasm and participation there were in the air. Giant TV screen were ready for the matches and there were big agitation. There were even so many nice installation like small docks all long Navigli, it was so good.

There, there are so many bars and they are all different, for all tastes. I spent a couple of hours eating everything, from cupcakes to ice cream till happy hour. Unluckily I couldn’t stay for dinner.

In the evening I had to attend an event that was too could, and for this reason I couldn’t skip it. I’ve been at Abstract Feeling runway, organized by Accademia del Lusso. It has been a total success.

For the whole day I wore this outfit, and I felt comfortable all the time. Even if wearing heels with 30 degrees in Milan it’s hard. At the end, when I arrived at home and I wore my slippers, it was unbelievable.

The day deserved everything by the way, it has been an ideal day.

SKINNY JEANS BLACK AND NEW YORK SCARF

What’s simplest than a pair of skinny jeans black, a blazer and a Moschino bag wore on your shoulder? Yesterday I opted for a everyday look to afford some “due” tasks that I couldn’t postpone anymore, as dentist and beautician. I really was looking for a couple of days in which I could just spend time for myself before the period that is coming, it seems will be really demanding. In today’s look I wanna underline the amazing foulard by MDGRAPHY that I found on lacrom. It is an e-store full of brands in which I use to buy really unique pieces. I choose the foulard with New York print, but there are so many, always with capitals and important cities. I decided to wear it around my neck, but I wanna try it even tied on my bag handles. I like scarfs because they give a classy touch to every look, being never ordinary. To brake all this black and grey I wear Zara décolleté, with a lovely pink point. I have to say that are really comfortable. I deal with a day of pain (from dentist and face cleaning I do not know what has been worst). Luckily everything is done and today I can do most nice things. Who follow me on my socials surely knows that I started a new Facebook page, that in few days will substitute the old one. All this because they didn’t allow me to change the name at my page, because I had too many followers, It’s absurd, I know it, a person can’t change the name of a page in which is admin, I said that many times in the emails to Facebook. In the end I understood that would have been faster opening a new one. I just hope that who wanna follow me will do it anyway.
