Ripped jeans and change points. Ripped jeans are strongly back and now more than ripped are lacerated. In fact I remember when I was at college and ripped jeans were in (and mostly low waist). At school it was a tragedy with teachers that always complain for any clothe with a rip, and my mum that alway asked me if I found them in the bin.

By the way that once were not really ripped. There were just small breaks for creating a used effect. Time has changed and ripped jeans nowadays are totally different. Now breaks are serious and can even show a whole leg, or both. I can’t imagine how difficult would be being at school now. A real war.

How can you avoid this kind of jeans, even more during summertime? They are so cool and if you are tanned (I am not) the effect is superb. If you are not able to find them in any store just buy those with small rip and make them larger with your own hands.

RIPPED JEANS AND REALLY SHORT DRESS

With ripped jeans I decided to match a dress that was really too short for me. Surely wearing it over my swimsuit or at the sea it would have been perfect, but wearing it in the city I used it like a long shirt, and I have to admit that I love the result.

The outfit is complete with such stylish Zara shoes (aren’t them wonderful?) and urban look is served. I can say that ripped jeans are ever green and wearing them is a warranty. By your hand or with scissors, let’s break them.

WHAT TO WEAR FOR A GRADUATION EXERCISES, MY CHOICE

You are so many, luckily, that write to me for advices about what to wear in different occasions. Few times ago Francesca, hello, wrote me that soon a friend of her will graduate and she was confused about what to wear. So, what to wear for a graduation exercises?

You have many options, but you have to remember that it’s a formal and serious occasion. That’s why the style have to be not too eccentric, but if you wanna wear a pop outfit, miniskirt and shining top, you just have to wait graduation party that will be the same night and the following days. By the way you can go wild with accessories, that is always a good idea. Usually after the boring graduation exercises, there is a formal launch with parents, so choose something cool, sober and elegant. Never wear something too shabby, it’a always and official celebration. You have to leave denim pants, shorts and tees in your wardrobe for other occasions and, trust me, you need something elegant and formal.

Dresses, maybe with half length skirt, shirts and trousers, or like in my case, a beautiful and never banal jumpsuit, are always a classy choice. For me it is a lifeline in so many occasions, it’s always fashion and never a banal choice. There are so many, I just bought an emerald green one that it’s really amazing. The one in the pics it’s really sober, perfect for a graduation exercises that unfold in the morning. For the afternoon ones, with dinner usually included, there are models more elegant, as black and without straps, or even nice dresses.

Talking about shoes, not too high heels are more advisable, because are more comfortable in the hours that we have to wear them. Fashion is helping us now, comfy heels are more inn that ever before.

70s FASHION, MY FAVORITE

My followers know that I love 70s fashion. For me it’s a true passion, I think it’s the decade in which fashion reached the top. Years in which elegance was even handy, a decade in which many big news have been introduced into fashion world. That’s why I love to play with that period looks.

In this case I just match pieces that were simply made to be worn together. Flared pants are a present of many years ago from my sister. They are one of the iconic pieces in my wardrobe. Those that you like so much that you treat that good that are still new. 70s shirt it’s brand new, and this is the first time I wear it. Design it’s characteristic and unique. Heels are by Randa, a japanese brand that kindly give that to me like a gift. I love them. They are so innovative, it seems that you walk free on the sole. Round sunglasses are a must have like iconic Gucci Bamboo.

What I love most in 70s fashion it’s happiness and energy. It’s a style that represent the period. A freedom spirit. That’s even what I was feeling while I was creating this look. It’s true that what you wear has the power to change your mood. How sad you are when you are wearing something that don’t make you feel comfortable? On the contrary when you wear something that makes you feel cool you are positive for the whole day. With this look, I felt great the whole day.
