Glittered booties. Christmas time is finally ended and I’m so sad! If it were up to me, it would be Christmas 365 days a year. What’s better than Christmas atmosphere, stay together and eat good food? Unfortunately even for this year Christmas is gone. Today is already time for diet, work and studying. So there is no excuses. During holidays I often wore my glitter booties, the trend of this season. I wore them also in this outfit, that I put on for a lunch with friend. And now stop nostalgia and let’s start to realize our new year’s resolutions.

ZARA HAT AND CASUAL LOOK

A casual look with Zara hat has been my choice for the first run to sale. I have to admit that I am a bit disappointed. I found nothing nice for me. Usually with sales I buy so many things, but yesterday has been a flop. Even if I saw just few shops, I hope will be better in next days. In the end I just bought another Zara hat like this one, but in brown color (hats are never enough) and a pair of heels  with interlaced design on the front, always from Zara. These days are going to be chaotic, with search for a new house and all news that we want to improve on the blog. I need to find more time for visiting more shops, because it’s a crime to buy nothing with sales. Today holidays are definitely gone and we do not have more excuses. Let’s start realizing all projects and aims for 2014 (I always take till the Befana for doing nothing). I am scared just thinking that in a bit I will have to move everything from dresses to bags and shoes. Help me! It will be a war. Me and Save are already discussing, he insist on having rights for a space in the wardrobe. After five years together he is still wasting his time in this battles. By the way I am really enthusiast and I can’t wait to realize all this changes. Waking up everyday in a city like MIlan, motivating, busy, full of occasions, it is really exciting. Surely I am a bit sad about leaving the house in which I grow up, but soon or later you have to, and I can come back to visit my family when I want to. I can’t wait to throw all myself in this new adventure.

FASHION IS ART THAT MAKES COHESION

Wednesday night, while I was running from one side to the other of H&M store in Milan during the preview of Isabel Marant pour H&M, trying to grab the iconic pieces, I thought that fashion is even cohesion and sharing. We were there, girls and ladies with the same big passion in the life, women that when wake up in the morning open the wardrobe thinking to wear something new, different and to share it with the other or maybe doing it just for herself, and feeling calm and satisfied. We were there to see and buy pieces from an amazing collection, innovative, unique, that immediately made us feeling that we have something in common, that we are part of the big fashion family that is made by all the people from all over the world that love this giant business. Because fashion is art, made by great designers and what they create are real masterpieces. Who loves these artworks is like hypnotized and entranced by them, like in front of a work of art. There are so many feelings when you see a dress that you like, firstly you are shocked seeing it, while in your mind you are already imagine how will look on you, how can you match it and when you can wear it. Than you go near it, you touch it and you can feel great textile, and you already noticed it before. Finally you wear it and it’s the maximum of the satisfaction, and if you look good it’s already part of you. Largest part of a dress it’s how you feel when you are wearing it, how you wear it, and how your personality suits with it, making it alive. Cause clothes are like grubs that transform into butterflies when they match humanity and charm of who is wearing them. There are dress that, even if they are a real dream when you see them while hung, they lose all the appeal when you wear them, because they are not made for us and we do not have that spark that they need. They still are amazing works of art, but without soul. And when we realize that that dress it’s not for us we simply have to leave it, still admiring his majesty, but we need to give him the opportunity to shine with another girl, that like us loves fashion and for this reason is already nearest to us and so, a friend.

FAUX FUR GILET AND LONG SKIRT

I really love faux fur gilet. I love generally faux fur. This is a cause really near to my heart. If I have to say what I really think, I will never be able to wear a real fur gilet. I saw many images of that poor animals grown in small cages in horrible conditions, that wait just for a slow and painful death. Terrible processes are used, to not ruin the fur that have to be sold. I am absolutely adverse to it, but I even can see how beautiful they are, that’s why since always I buy faux fur coats, that are really the same. Once they were absolutely awful, faux furs looked like death rats furs, they were impossible to wear. Nowadays faux furs are just alike to the real ones, and you save life and pain to many innocent animals. Anyway I wear one of my faux fur gilet for a working afternoon in Milan. It’s starting to be really cold and I am wearing it over a classic white shirt. I match it with a long skirt, Valentino rockstud flats and my “candy” Balenciaga bag. I love the result, because soft colors give a great contrast to a total black look. They create a nice rock look. You know how I love long skirts. I think this one it’s special thanks to the plissé. Long skirt are so feminine, perfect for everyone, and perfect when we feel not that perfect with our shape. They are able to hide legs defects. Beautiful and handy. Long skirt are officially my passion.
