LEATHER PANTS, SWEATER AND TARTAN: OPPOSITES ATTRACT

Leather pants, sweater and tartan. These days are crazy for me. I have just returned in Milan after Christmas holidays and a lot of news are coming. My blog is always my personal diary and it follows my life’s changements. So I want to share with you a wonderful news. I’m getting ready to realize the dream of my life: to become a fashion journalist. It will need a lot of study and practice, but I think that everyone should try to realize what make them happy and proud of themselves. Of course I will keep you fully informed about my steps. Today I wear a outfit-mix ( I have just coin a new word!), that is a mix of totally different elements that work together. Have you understood something? I’ll call it “metropolitan beanie style” (today I’m in the mood for ridiculous words!). Moreover in this period I’m obsessed with beanies, they are so stylish!

TARTAN JACKET AND WOOL CAP, 99 PROBLEMS!

Tartan jacket. Recently I have the tartan mania. I have never loved it before, but since the first time I wore it I have been addicted. Given that in Milan there is sooo cold, I wear the first wool cap of the season, that represents me so much. Although 10.000 problems (mental problems) it would have been better!

TARTAN SHIRT, AND YOU GET WOODCUTTER

Tartan shirt. I have always despised tartan shirts. I have never bought a tartan shirt and I have never wore one of them, not even when they are considered stylish. Why? Because I have always associated them to woodcutters (nothing against woodcutters!), and they didn’t fit for me. Recently I have reconsidered them, but I wear them only with leather skirts or pants, for a city/country contrast that run. Wearing them with denim pants is yet too difficult for me, but never say never.

TARTAN COAT AND A GOOD STORY

Tartan coat. In Milan the cold has arrived and here I am to wear the first coat of the season. This tartan coat is one of those “wrong” purchases. I bought it the last year in Rome, after a long time I was keeping watch over it, never buying it because I was not convinced at all. When I found it on sale I decided to buy it, because an extra coat is always useful. Later I have tried to match it with so many outfits, but it was always a failure. A few days ago, changing out my closet, I found it again and I took it in Milan with me, having a mind to wear it as everyday’s coat, going to the gym or at supermarket.

Two days ago I wore this outfit for a meeting and, being a cold morning, I haven’t any coat that matched. So I have tried my degraded tartan coat and…dahdah! As if by magic, the coat was perfect with the outfit, and it was also so much more stylish than I remember.

Now the coat, that from to be Cinderello has become a prince, has now the life it was worthing and it is considered a coat to wear in the best occasions. This good story has teached us that there is always a second chance in life and that women and fashion are so moody!

TROPICAL PRINT JACKET AND MIRROR SUNNIES

Can you notice that I would like go to the sea? Tropical print jacket, mirrored sunnies and sandals are my look for a free day with friends. This tropical print jacket I think it’s simply amazing, I found it in Zara mens store, and I felt in love. I asked Save if he wanted it, he said no, so I bought a size S for me and luckily was perfect. In mens store there are always nice things. By the way I really crave for sun and holidays, but Save is so busy with his studies that I am not sure that we’ll be able to plan something for this Summer. He has a really big thing in October and he wanna took advantage of summertime for study. I can’t blame him. Surely I would love to take a little break just for us, we will see if it will be possible. Meanwhile I still dream the sea and I try to be back in shape. Finally my diet is giving results, I lost weight and I am really happy. It has not been that hard. When I eat healthy I feel good with my self. If I have to be sincere I was really going too hard with pizza, chips and junk food. When you start eating bad it’s so difficult to stop. It seems impossible. Just the beginning it’s hard then everything comes easier. It’s most important to change lifestyle than a diet, you need to take care and love yourself. The rest is a consequence. Choosing healthy food and daily exercises it’s not just good to be in shape, but even for the mood. You gain confidence and all your goals seems nearer. A success calls another! So girls let’s go, I want you all in perfect shape for this Summer.

TRANSPARENT SHIRT AND SANDALS

When I saw this transparent shirt at Zara I couldn’t leave it there. What I like most in this piece it’s sexy thanks to the sheer effect, but in the same time it’s even classy and super chic. I match it with leather leggings and my new Marni sandals, that I deeply love. We made this shooting in Milan, after application of my new extension (yes, I didn’t have a wondrous hair grow). I will talk you about this experience in few days. As you can see through the pics when I finished I was feeling like a child with a new toy. I was deeply happy and enthusiast of my new look and I couldn’t stop playing with my again long hair. We even shoot few pics for a magazine (as soon as they will be published I will let you know) and then we found a couple of hours of spare time for a nice walk around beautiful MIlan. Even tonight I will be in the city for a great event, stay up to date on my Instagram for all the details. I will spend this morning for some postponed for too long works and a bit of gym. I prospect busts. In these days I feel Spring so much, I would sleep from morning till night. Even if I go to bed really early it’s so difficult to wake up. We say April sweet sleep, isn’t it true? Unluckily there is no time for sleep and even this morning I was up early with a strong coffee. Nice weather (and chocolate biscuits) give me the right energy for start the day. OUTFIT INSPIRATION: JEANS SHIRT AND LEATHER PANTS

Today I show you an outfit inspiration really simple, perfect for a shopping day or if you wanna be fashion and comfy at the same time. Everyone would like to be able to choose fast the right look in the morning, everyone would like to be able to be unique even wearing a simple jeans and sometimes it looks like impossible. Secret are accessories. I deeply trust in accessories power, they are able to change your look and make cool even the simplest one. In this outfit inspiration I decided to match three simple clothes that you all have in the wardrobe: a jeans shirt, leather pants and a cardigan. To transform a look that is absolutely not interesting I wear a pair of glitter sneakers, a hat and a belt laced on waist. I would like to talk you about hat. It’s an accessory that I discovered lately, and that really opened a new world for me. Here you can see other two posts in which you can see me wearing hat, before with a black dress and then with sweater and pencil skirt. Hat is a really fashion accessory, that it’s a plus for an outfit that it’s already unique or just for make a boring outfit different. Today Me and Save have to pack first things for the new house in Milan, in which probably we will move next week. I even have to go to the dentist. Help. I want that it would already done. I am so terrified, I hate going there. I am scared.
