TARTAN COAT AND A GOOD STORY
Tartan coat. In Milan the cold has arrived and here I am to wear the first coat of the season. This tartan coat is one of those “wrong” purchases. I bought it the last year in Rome, after a long time I was keeping watch over it, never buying it because I was not convinced at all. When I found it on sale I decided to buy it, because an extra coat is always useful. Later I have tried to match it with so many outfits, but it was always a failure. A few days ago, changing out my closet, I found it again and I took it in Milan with me, having a mind to wear it as everyday’s coat, going to the gym or at supermarket.
Two days ago I wore this outfit for a meeting and, being a cold morning, I haven’t any coat that matched. So I have tried my degraded tartan coat and…dahdah! As if by magic, the coat was perfect with the outfit, and it was also so much more stylish than I remember.
Now the coat, that from to be Cinderello has become a prince, has now the life it was worthing and it is considered a coat to wear in the best occasions. This good story has teached us that there is always a second chance in life and that women and fashion are so moody!
