ELEGANT OUTFIT, BUT NOT TOO MUCH

“Sorry baby, what did you say?”. That’s what I said to Save yesterday after he was talking to me since few minutes. One of nowadays problem is that we don’t listen. Technology is everywhere, and it’s always more difficult to disconnect ourselves from our smart phone for listening someone that is talking to us. We hear sound, words, pieces of discourse, but we can not understand it because we are distracted by the vibe on the mobile, Facebook notification, a new mail or new likes on Instagram. I am totally absorbed and concentrated in this “virtual” world, and I realized that many time it replace my real world. Surely couples are the ones that suffer more for all this. Even more long time couples. Obviously when it’s just five or six months that you are dating someone there is nothing that can distract you from your new love, that seems to be the most interesting thing in the world. After five or six years, when you boyfriend tells you how his boxing training has been great to how amazing the latest Jaguar is, I guarantee you that Outlook, Instagram or Lookbook are irresistible temptations. Often, unlucky, we lose important things that the other person have to tell us, just for something that we could check few hours later. Because, in the end, notifications and e mails are there till when we do not open them, and awesome moments with people that we love won’t repeat in the same way, and all dialogues missed are occasions lost. To avoid Internet it’s impossible, and it even would be stupid, Internet it’s something great, that allow us to be always up to date and it’s an easy solution for many small everyday problems, a innovation that changed the world. We have just to disconnect from it for few hours a day, fix few night in which even checking the e mail it’s banned and start to listen who is around you again. I guarantee you that in that night you won’t miss Internet at all.
