THANKSGIVING IN MILAN

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! Yes I know that in Italy we do not celebrate it, but it’s really important. I love United States, the way of living there that it’s totally different from the european, the cities, the movies and all what they represent. That’s why tonight Me and Save will be in Milan, at California’s Bakery, a famous restaurant in the city, for eating a typical american menu for the Thanksgiving Day. I am already starving! Talking about today’s post, we were super late for a meeting, and I was not able to find a location that I like for the shooting. Than we saw this bridge over the highway. I loved it. The outfit represent a style that I love, it’ is made with romantic characteristics and rock details. I don’t like those outfits that are made by a single style: if it’s not for a specific shooting I avoid to wear like Alice in Wonderland or like a member of the Kiss. I like to mix. Often I wear romantic dress, with plissé and ruches, matching them with leather jacket, studded boots, black leather bag or, like in this case, high heels (other examples here, here and here). I love contrast, because that’s fashion. Contrast of proportion: long tees with short skirts, or vice versa (here, here and here). Contrast of color: matching opposite colors like black and white or dark colors with fluo details (here and here). Contrast of shape: large tees with close fitting pants or skirt (here, here and here). Contrast of fabric: veil with wool, velvet or jeans (here and here). Even in this outfit I minimize a dress full of rouges with leather details obtaining a metropolitan look.
