SKIRT AND BOOTS FOR WINTER TIME

Skirt and boots is the outfit that I choose to inaugurate my blog’s new name.

You could ask me why I took this decision (I mean changing the name, not skirt and boots). You can see that the blog is always the same, my style is the same and obviously I am the same. I just had this feeling to change, to choose a name that could represent Melissa more (and obviously which name more than mine?).

Doing it I don’t delete The Princess Gown as work, that’s the name with which this adventure started and I will always think about it with sincere love. After a year, my life is changing in many ways and my relation with this work is more mature. What a year ago has born like a pastime it’s starting to be, day after day, something serious and powerful. I was feeling to do something that could remember me when change happened and at the same time a new start of this adventure.

I grown up since when the blog started, in this year I did my first steps like blogger and even my looks are different. My style is always the same, but during last year I learnt giving more importance at details, accessories and most important I learnt to venture lots more. Me and Save have both finished University and now we are looking for a new house, just for us, starting a new chapter in our life together. I finally will study Fashion and even he’s ready to follow his dream.

Everything is changing and I decided to say goodbye to The Princess Gown, it always will be a beautiful chapter in my life that now is ending. I remember that I revealed the name to Save when I visited him in England during his Erasmus. He smiled, because he knew how much it was representing me. I deeply loved princess dresses, the ones in Disney’s movies. I decided that it was the right name for my blog. It was for the whole year.

Now it’s time for a name for what I am now, for what I simply am, Melissa Cabrini. I wanna say thanks with all my heart to all the people that believe in my project since the beginning, to all the people that follow me with love and made this evolution possible. I hope you’ll follow me with same love that you showed me since first days.
